live test for mirrored disk

OS: solaris 8
CPU/Ram: 4 gigs ram

i just mirrored 2 disks using solstice disksuite. Now i want to do a "live test" to see if the mirroring acutally works. I ran metastat and it gave me that everything was ok. but liek i want to see if the mirroring actually works.

detach the mirror and then you can compare both bit by bit if you like. or if you want a worst case test, simply remove one drive physical.
maybe you have to change the obp to boot automaticaly from the second disk.
