Comment: Hi, can you give me any tips if there're benefits in switching from Linux to Solaris 9 my desktop? Any issues I can expect, I've been using Debian woody for over a year and a couple of months and other Linuxes/NetBSD for 1.5 years before that.

Maybe others would disagree with me but Linux is a little easier to set up but once you have Solaris up, it's a rock solid system... Why not try it and make your own judgement! taurus
