Hi,
I'm trying to compile on a Solaris 8 a module with external dependencies - a third party .so library.
The third party library is built on Solaris 10, and the problem is with libc.so.
At linking, the third party library needs the newer version of the libc.so - version xxxx2, on my system the libc.so version is xxx1.
Any ideas how it could be possible to make it work?
And a noob question :) How can I see the version of a library? I tried elfdump, but haven't seen it in the output.
Advice much appreciated!
