Which book is good for learning solaris (as a new user for unix/linux/solaris) ? Also, i would like to know some websites where i can find knowledge on solaris admin.

Best way to learn it is hands-on-experience and playing with it. Most books are pretty much similar. Get a cheap box and start playing with it and you can even put solaris on an X86 architecture. A few good sites are www.ugu.com, www.learnsolaris.com, this web site is pretty good as well and there are tons of them out there, just do a search and you'll be able to find just about all you can handle.
