The Solaris 9 OS dont support my Intel 852/855 integrated graphics chip. (tried to use i810/845 driver but the X server crashes). So the only mode available is 640x480x16 colors. Is it possilble to get any working driver? Thank you for your help!

Hi, you should try installing the Solaris port of the Xfree86 videodrivers. It can bee downloaded here: http://developer.sun.com/solaris/developer/support/driver/tools/video/video-index.html
Follow the installationinstructions and when installed try using the Xfree VESA-device driver, it usually does the trick if you can't find any other suiting driver in this library.
