Hi:
I have several sun clone ("Horizon") boxes, ultra 2's. Some of them have an Integrix S20V sbus frame buffer card in them. When I upgrade from 2.8 -> 2.8, I got a request to upgrade the firmware with the "Flash" prom CD that comes with sol 8 install set. Looke at the sun site, and confirmed my firmware was out of date, so did the upgrade. Note that I at first declined the upgrade and the system came up fine after the upgrade to 2.8 but complained about the firmware being out of date every bootup.
After doing the firmware update, which seemed successful, I get the following on bootup:
"Can't find driver for console framebuffer" and XWindows can't start, so only have text available now at the console.
Help! Any ideas on how to get a driver for this thing? Sent a msg to support @ integrix but no response as of yet. The same box with a Sun card in it doesn't have this problem...
The following is h/ware config ..
