i have window98 i want to install solaris8
on same hardrive. i have 3.02gb hardrive

you can do it : firstly you got to download a prog called 'MrBooter' (i can send it to you if you wish). this will allow you to create two active partitions on your hard disk. then install win98 on the first and solaris on the second. when you boot , your comp will give you a bootloader option asking you which system you wanna run, select , and thats it! hope this helps.

I have a dual boot intel machine loaded with Win 98 and Linux on it. I have 3 gig HD free. I am intending to install solaris 8 as multiboot. Can someone tell me what do I need to do.

Hi!!

I have 2 HDD. 13GB & 2 GB..I have installed Win2k Proff in the 13 GB HDD. Is it possible to install Solaris 7 on the 2 GB HDD and dual boot between Win2k & Solaris. OR Do I have to install WIN2k and Solaris on the same HDD.

Please send me the Mr Booter also.

i have windows 95 on one partition of my hard disk and now i installed Solaris on another partition, thinking that i would get dual booting facility. But i couldnt get it, im now not possible to get access to my windows partition. Machine boots from Solaris. Tell me a method to have dual boot facility
