I have got my personal PC with UNIX OS Solaris version 8 , and I would like to install my external modem(normal modem), Could any one help me please or show me how to install the modem

Hi,

you can use admintool for GUI installation:
-Browse
-Serial Ports
--Port A or B
Expertmode
