Installation Of Solaris on Intel P4

Hi All

I have one problem in installation of Solaris on my Intel P4 system which have VIA chip set.
Actually during installation is getting aborted after selecting Installtion options i.e Interactive Installation or Jumpstart Installation.

Can I install SOLARIS 8 on Intel P4 with VIA chip set
