I am getting the following error while installing Crypt-SSLeay-0.57(During the make stage)
# make
cc -c -I/usr/local/ssl/include/openssl -D_LARGEFILE_SOURCE -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64 -xO3 -xdepend -DVERSION=\"0.57\" -DXS_VERSION=\"0.57\" -KPIC -I/usr/perl5/5.6.1/lib/sun4-solaris-64int/CORE SSLeay.c
cc: unrecognized option `-KPIC'
cc: language depend not recognized
cc: SSLeay.c: linker input file unused because linking not done
Running Mkbootstrap for Crypt::SSLeay ()
chmod 644 SSLeay.bs
rm -f blib/arch/auto/Crypt/SSLeay/SSLeay.so
LD_RUN_PATH="/usr/local/ssl/lib" cc -G SSLeay.o -o blib/arch/auto/Crypt/SSLeay/SSLeay.so -L/usr/local/ssl/lib -lssl -lcrypto
cc: SSLeay.o: No such file or directory
*** Error code 1
make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `blib/arch/auto/Crypt/SSLeay/SSLeay.so'
------------
For background,

PATH=/usr/local/bin:/usr/local/ssl/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/usr/ccs/bin:/usr/ucb/

and there is a symbolic link (ln -s ./gcc /usr/local/bin/cc)

I have installed OpenSSL as well.

Please let me know where I could have gone wrong.
