HI, I'm Italian (sorry for my english) and I have a problem. I want to install (for teh first time, so be patient) Solaris 8 in a old PC Intel that not support booting from CD. How I can do?
I have Solaris booting CD, Solaris software CD1 and Solaris software CD2

You can get a floppy image called the Device Configuration Assistant from Sun. Read the instructions carefully. If you have a Linux system running then just use dd to place the image onto a new floppy in /dev/fd0. You can boot from this floppy to start the install.
Unless you really like asking for help do not use the Installation CD. Place Software CD 1 into the CD-ROM drive to begin the install.
