Hi, Can anyone please let me know - I have downloaded the image files for x86 solaris. I am using a nero burner to put it on CD. At the sun download page, it mentions renaming the downloaded image with a .iso extension. But when I run nero, it asks me to select a whole list of options.
Has anyone used this burner software? Do we stick to the default values?

I did th download. I have to tell you I had a problem also. The only Program that will understand that image file is Adaptec's CD Creator 3.5 or higher. If you run NT 4.0 no problem, just get the copy and that's it. Email me. If you run Win2k, the Adaptec won't work on that machine unless you have Adaptec CD Creator 4.o2. Good day for you.

Hi Michael, Thanks for your answer. I have managed to download the images and burn them on CD. What I have done is unzip the downloaded files, rename them to .iso extension and then get Adaptec (I think its 4 or higher?) running on W2K Professional edition, and burn the CD.
The install CD is being picked up by the CDROM (when I try installing it) but then it says prom-panic....error etc and it can't find the filesystem to mount.
Thanks for your help - am still working on this. Did u want me to email u the files? If so, which one?
