Hi - I've installed a refurbished IBM DCHS-34550 drive in a Sparc 10 and am trying to install Solaris 8. The machine tells me it is formatting the drive but after about 20 minutes it stops and gives me corrupt label errors, VTOC errors, and unable to write to disk. The disk ends up not formatted. What am I doing wrong? Please help...Thanks.
