Install patch id#109866-03 it will solve the problem.

(Tried it and it works)

Help!!!
i download the patch 109867-03 (I think it
includes 109866) for 3C905c
for solaris8 x86, it causes crash and reboot.

I have also tried an alternative that I
modified the S28DCA1000 database to use
3c905b driver, but it did not work.

Any advices are welcome

What a crock
You need to be a contract customer to get a lousy nic driver?
So???? Where can the driver for 3com 905 be had with out being a contract customer?
If I have to jion a zillion clubs and pay a zillion dollars ,SUN doesn't think we're going to put up with that do they?
I though Bill Gates was out to lunch.

Hi,
I need a java driver for solaris m/c for accessing a MSAccess database.
Firstof all can i use a Type 4 Pure java driver for this purpose?
If so, where can i get such drivers?
If not which one can i use for this purpose and where can i get it?

I have the same card. See FAQ at
http://perso-info.enst-bretagne.fr/~brouty/Info/faq-solaris2-x86.html#6.6
I can ping other hosts and telnet, but I still can't access the internet through my default router. But at least the card is recognized.
