Comment:

I use Free Solaris 8 on Ultra II.
As I have to change IP of machine, I tear down the NIS. But I can't get back setting
the NIS master.
The flows are as followed:
%ypinit -m
%Can't get local host's domain name
%domainname 12345
%ypinit -m
%Can't get local host's domain name

Can any body help me?
I have also use /etc/defaultdomain to set domain-name.

what does the command domainname say? 12345?
if not set the domainname online to 12345 with: "domainname 12345"
