How to install NIC card Solaris 8 Intel

Hi I have installed Solaris 8 on intel platform. The installation procedure has not detected my NIC card.Let me know how to configure once I add the required patch...

Hi

Once you physically attach the lan card then boot the machine through boot -r.On solaris8 machine pl run devfsadm command with root previlage.

Then do the following:-

#ifconfig -a
#ifconfig iprb0 "Enter ipaddress" up
# init 6

If this is not working then do tell me I will give one another way to configure lan card.
