How do i install the driver for the ethernet card (realtek8139)? and then how do configure the card for my dsl? (for windows and linux it works almost more like a cable connection... I just configure the card for dhcp and it runs like a champ on either of those two platforms)...

i suppose ur talking about solaris on intel,
download rtl driver from the sun site .It does have a installation script after installing follow the following steps

1.ifconfig rtl0 plumb

2.ifconfig rtl0 ipaddress netmask up

for permanet connection create the follwing files

1/etc/hostname.rtl0


2./etc/hosts

ipadd hostname

3./etc/defaultrouter

dsl router address


it should work
