Hi folks,
I have a server runing Solaris 8 ( NIS ) environment. The passwd file in yp folder has hunderds of accounts that I want to disable. How could I do that ??

why dont you use the AdminSuite and delete them....

One way to prevent logins while keeping the account is to change the encrypted password field to "NOLOGIN" or something like that.
