Is it a Creative Card or is it a card that emulates a Sound Blaster? Right up front it is best to configure your hardware setup for Solaris, rather than the other way around. Solaris is not very forgiving when it comes to hardware. Check out the SUN website for the hardware compatability lists and any available patches, drivers,.ect that you may need BEFORE you install solaris. SUN developed their version of UNIX to run on SUN SPARC systems, x86 support is added as an after-thought.
So, if the OS runs flawlessly on a SPARC - from SUNs point of view - their hardware obligations have been met. You'll have to do a little research and try setting up again. Far fewer headaches that way.
