vi /etc/hostname.hme1 (if it's hme) add an hostname that you will associate w/hme1 in your hosts file. I do this and have 1 nic on 1 network, and the other on the other network.. /etc/hosts 192.168.1.94 joe #hme0 192.168.2.33 joe1 #hme1
more /etc/hostname/hme* hostname.hme joe hostname.hme1 joe1
