help--how to get the accurate time ?

Pls help me:

I know that I can use last command to detect the boot time of Sun machine,but,how to check the accurate down-time when the Sun machine (with solaris 8 sparc) abnomally shutdown (eg. power failure)? or,is there any way to detect the exact time when I shutdown the Sun machine ?

i would just complare the 'last' output to the 'who -b' output.

also look in /var/adm/messages there may be useful info there
