hi everyone,
i'm a student been trying to config the newly installed solaris 9. i got stuck when i was trying to change the screen resolution when i'm using CDE. this is what i've done so far:
1.> i used "fbbconfig -res 1280 try" in command line.
2.> "m64config -propt" shows the openWindows video mode configuration has been changed to "1280x1024x75".
3.> however, the command "m64config -prconf" shows the Hardware resolution is still the default 1152x900x66.

the resolution in the CDE is still 1152x900, do i need to change the HARDWARE resolution in order to get a higher resolution? if so, what else do i need to do?

other than the "ffbconfig" cmd, i also tried "m64config -res 1280 try" but got no further than mentioned. Please help!! :(

by the way, my machine is ultra 10 with creator graphic card.

regards,
shawn.
