gui vs command driven solaris

I am very new to using Solaris software and Sun machines. I have a Sun 450 server that came without a video card so I connected a client and proceeded to install Solaris. It installed fine but I just put in a video card (not Sun but it works). How do I get Solaris to recognize the gui now without having to do a complete reinstall. The video card works fine and I have a monitor connected to the server but typing admintool gets me no where. Help

Try running the command "dtconfig -e" (exclude the quotes), this will enable the GUI login screen. If this is the mather, just type "exit" to logout of the console and then wait a few seconds after having given this command. The GUI login-screen should now appear. If you want to shut off the GUI-login the type "dtconfig -d" (without the quotes).
