I have installed everything and it works, but the graphics dont look right with pictures. They dont look like pictures, they look like graphics, like in windows when the number of colors is set too low. I have a decent card, so that is not the problem, is there some setting? any ideas? if anyone knows about japanese fonts, they also look terrible, they are too bloated and thick, so it is hard to read them. thanks in advance!

You probably need to set the resolution. The command to do this is normally "fbconfig". But depends on what graphics card you have, you may need to use different command (like "m64config").
