I have a web/Java application running on Solaries at a web hosting company. And from time to time, I or my client need to FTP updated file from our PC to the website. And sometimes, as soon as the FTP process was done, the server crashed. And it would give all different kinds of error. Once it was bus error, once it was segmentation error... And usually serveral time of restarting the server (over couple hours) for the site to be stablized again.
It doesn't make sense to me that FTP would cause a core dump. But it happened at least 5 times already. Does anyone have any idea what might go wrong?
