I need to format the harddisk in solaris and clear all the data in the harddisk. i don't know how to do this. please help me

Boot to a bootable media that is supported by your system.

Run format utility that supports the file system you desire.

"Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, are in my top 10
