I have been trying to run expect for the last two days and was not successful. First, I installed tcl expecting it will take care of 'expect' from => http://www.activestate.com/Products/Download/Download.plex?id=ActiveTcl , the tcl worked with no problem but could not execute expect commands. Then I downloaded the source codes of tcl and expect and tried to compile them locally but the tcl Makefile, which is auto-generated, did not work. If any one out there ever used 'expect' on solaris or can direct me where I can find 'expect' that runs on solaris, your help is very much appreciated.
