I've not heard of anything like this.

PCs don't have the OpenBoot PROM so I can't see you being able to emulate the openboot environment and then having it influence the actual running of the SOlaris environment/kernel.

You'd be better off getting a cheap SPARC from eBay (Sparc20 for example).
