When copy (using dd) a bootable solaris-10 73GB disk to an empty 146GB disk,I can boot with the new 146GB disk (when dd complete).
What I'm trying to do next is to resize the 146GB disk (one of its partitions) to it original size, cause the disk "think" its only 73gb (same as the source disk after dd).
Using "format" its not working cause the format see the limit of 73gb. next I run fdisk on the disk and it change the format view to see 146gb disk, my question is what should be done to really change the disk size with out harming the data on the disk ?

OK, I found my self the solution as following:
1. I boot from the first disk (72gb) and access format (singel user mode)
2. choose the new 146 disk.
3. edit the 146 disk to have the same boot partition size as the original (especially the from number).
4. Edit the rest of the partitions to have all the disk space as needed.
5. boot from the new disk - working !!!
