CPU/Ram: Netra T1
Comment:

I took one hard disk out and put it back on SUN Netra T1 server (with hot pluggable feature). Now metastat shows one hard disk (its slices) needs maintenance.
How to make them re-sync, or remirror?

Thanks for help.

What do you mean? Mark,

Say for all slices (s0, s1, s6, s7), metastat shows: (list s7 only)

d70: Mirror
Submirror 0: d71
State: Okay
Submirror 1: d72
State: Needs maintenance
Pass: 1
Read option: roundrobin (default)
Write option: parallel (default)
Size: 67209800 blocks

d71: Submirror of d70
State: Okay
Size: 67209800 blocks
Stripe 0:
Device Start Block Dbase State Hot Spare
c0t0d0s7 0 No Okay

d72: Submirror of d70
State: Needs maintenance
Invoke: metareplace d70 c0t1d0s7
Size: 67209800 blocks
Stripe 0:
Device Start Block Dbase State Hot Spare
c0t1d0s7 0 No Maintenance

how can I put them re-sync.. without: delete d72, re-define d72, umount d70, remount d70 or attach d70 d72..
Any easy way, concept clear method?
