Hi!

After I formated one SCSI disk with format utility, hard errors occurred in iostat. So I checked the disk for bad sectors with format>analyze compare test, but the test didn't find any bad sectors. And the number of bad sectors in format>defect both list before format and after format was the same. So I formated the disk again and the same number of hard errors occurred in iostat. So I'm asking what those hard errrors means? Should I better replace the disk with another one, or is the disk ok? Thanks for answers and I apologize for my bad English.

if the hard error vlaue is low it can be ignored, and if the value is high it is better to replace the disk
