hi all
at work we are having a few problems with a hard disk. its mirrored i think and from what i gather every time we run fsck we get errors. then we fix em and the next day we have new errors. we have been unmounting the file system when running it but i have a hunch its a disk failing or a disk controller that a bit nackered. so i had the bright idea of running a scan on the disk usig format/analyse. think is will this give us enough info to rule out the disk or controller and is it safe to run the comand. or will it create more problems than solve?
ive had a look on google but found nothing that answered it

all text needs typos. There there for the reader to find,to distract them from the total lack of content. google it! wasnt the answer to the question i asked so dont be dense and give me that reply!

Since you have problems you need to fix it at almost any cost. There is no need to mirror a bad set of data. Get a good test suite either from the drive mfg or one made to test computers.

I read it wrong and answer it wrong too. So get off my case you goober.
