I work on a small network of about 15 pc's and 4 printers (all set up statically). I have the D-Link 900AP+ set up as the DHCP server with a range set between 192.168.0.120 and 192.168.0.135. Today a client received an error as he tried to log on wirelessly. It told him that the ip address was already in use? I cannot figure out why the DHCP server would try to lease and ip address already in use when there are 9 others available for use? I reset the DHCP server and it issued an ip address that it could have issued all along? Any ideas why it does this from time to time?

Lease times too long maybe.

"Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, are in my top 10
