I am failing to connect to the internet on solaris 7.I am getting the error message which points the problem to be of proxy settings.
I have configured by LAN settings correctly and can ping my default getway router and other machines on the LAN.Also i Can ping my Dns. Please help......

You have to add route to your proxy server.
#route add [proxy IP address] [IP address of gateway to proxy]
