CDE in sunfire v120

I install the solaris 8 via lom port everything is ok, how can i start the cde? because it doesn`t start automatic.

Are you saying if you start an x windows client and tell it to connect to this host it does not?
The startup script
/etc/rc2.d/S99dtlogin starts your xwindows server.
Try: /usr/openwin/bin/xterm

I can't recommend one xclient over another as I haven't done comparisons. As a commercial product I use reflections because it is what my company has adopted. Persoanally I like vnc project developed by AT&T found at http://www.realvnc.com/ . Some others to look at:
