Hi everyone,
I'm running Solaris 8 (as bastion host) in a Ultra Station. After removing some packages and adding some (from the CD with mount -F hsfs -o ro /dev/dsk/c0t6d0s0) I can't mount the CD anymore. Something like "there's no such device" appears. I've tried to boot cdrom or boot cdrom -s and also boot -r but nothing...

you may have to unmount using umount -f command or your vold daemon may not run properly. So, try to run manually in the /etc/init.d/vglmnt start or stop.

Thanks Chalie but that's not the origin of my problem. Actually I had a hardware problem. Now it's solved. Thanks anyway.
