Hai! everybody!

We have a Sun Fire V100 server powered by solaris 9. Evryday morning,I
can't access it by telnet .but before I go home I can do access it by
telnet. when I press the keyboard ,the console leave the "OK"
there. I use the ping command from the Redhat linux box to test solaris
server, I get no reply.

I thing that maybethe powerd demon shutdown the server, so I stop the
powerd demon ,but it happened again.

Anyone can tell me what is the problem.
Thank you very much!

At the OK prompt the machine is not in a ready state. It should respond to a ping but not to other services. Are you sure the power managment is turned off?
