Comment: How can I have both OS Solaris 8 and Windows 98 on a pc, I have Windows 98 running on intel pentium II and wish to install Solaris 8, I have the disks for installation and like to know how I can make it boot from CD ROM. Please help and let me even know if there can be any chances of hard disk crash and loss of previous data. Can someone please help me. Thanking you in Advance.

Reply: (edit)just make both partitions to each OS as primary and also I think there are some limmitation on staring claster of bootable partition, because of that do not make very big partitions. I have 2 10Gb partition it seem to work fine
