how can i get the system configuration in solaris 8? i want to get all detail for example name of sound card driver, nic card driver, video card driver and etc ., is there any command? in which file configuration information are stored ?

Try /usr/platform/sun4u/sbin/prtdiag -v and check out /etc/path_to_inst and look in /var/adm/messages for boot messages. Also look at what packages are loaded, pkginfo -l
