C Executable can work in Different UNIX

Hi,

C language executable programe (.exe) can be executed different unix platform?

For example a C file created and compiled on dynix , this exe file can be executed solaris or HP unix.

Can any one explain? pls.

Hi,

No, You need to compile your source code again on your system with the proper compiler (like gcc)which is installed on your machine.
