I trayed to boot with cdrom in sparc's station with stop A and boot cdrom.
the process of the installation (red hat 6.2) stopped ,and when i trayed again to reboot cdroom ,it display :
boot:cannot open cdroom
enter File Name [cdroom]:

what's the problem.....thanks for your help.

Hrm, if I were you, I would reset the eeprom to defaults and try again. from the ok prompt you can type

printenv

to see if there's anything gone screwy.. to reset everything to factory settings type

set-defaults

and reboot.

or you can hold down stop + N when the machine is powering up. hold 'em down for a few seconds and try it again.
