auto file transfer from unix to xp

I am trying to automate file transfer from a UNIX server to a windows xp machine(I just know the ip address of the windows maching eg. 123.12.1.123). Can somebody help on how to automate this transfer without me login in everytime into the UNIX server whenever some files are updated in xyz directory and directly transfer into abc directory in windows xp.

You could run rsync as a daemon on the unix host with rsync for NT as a scheduled task on the windows client.

Is there any other way like automating scp or ftp. i was looking online but couldnt really find stuff to automate file transfer from unix to windows xp(using ip as a host name).
You can use the ftp for automation the file upload and down load I have done this fro XP to Unix. If u want I will search for the script which I created some time back.
