OS: Open Unix 8
CPU/Ram: P4 1.7 - 256mb
Comment:

I added a ATI Sapphire 9000 64mb Radeon card to my Sony Vaio machine. When I try to install Open Unix 8 (very similar to Solaris 8) it all installs fine, on reboot it gives me all kinds of errors. I know its the video card and I have up-to-date drivers for it but I cant get the system to boot in to the os to let me install them.

If I use the built-in driver I can boot and install just fine, however I try an add the card back in and the errors reappear.

Any help....
Thanks

I should also say that
The install goes flawless until it reboots and tries to start-up....

The built in Video Card a (32mb Sis) works fine but I hate to think that there is nothing I can do.
