Apache don't start at boot

We have Apache 1.3 installed on a Sol8 server. There is a S50apache file in the /etc/rc3.d directory, but everytime we boot, the service never starts.

Did you try running apache from the command line? If that works then do a who -r and make sure that the runstate matches where you have placed the start script. After that all thats left is permissions/previliges of the Start script
