Apache don't start at boot

OS: Sol8
CPU/Ram: 2x450/2GB

We have Apache 1.3 installed on a Sol8 server. There is a S50apache file in the /etc/rc3.d directory, but everytime we boot, the service never starts.

Anyone have an idea of what the problem might be?

Did you try running apache from the command line?
If that works then do a who -r and make sure that the runstate matches where you have placed the start script.
After that all thats left is permissions/previliges of the Start script
