I am running Solaris 9 x86 on a PC. I am currently logged into the PC running the gnome xwindows. Here is my question, I am running some scripts via the shell in gnome. I would like to know if there is any kind of program that I can access the desktop remotely, like PCAnywhere for windows. I want to be able to check on the progress of these programs.. I will be connecting to my remote network from a Windows 2000 pc via VPN. Is there anything out there that will let me do that???

Thanks...

If all you need is a shell, use Putty for a client and run SSH on the server.

X-win32 from www.starnet.com is another great option and the price is pretty reasonable...
