Hi, I have a solaris box at home networked through a router and a cable modem. The ssh is installed on the solaris box and deamon is runing. The static ip for the solaris box is 192.168.0.111. The router ip is 192.168.0.1. At home I can use putty telnet to my solaris box, but not ssh, ssh access is fine while networked with hub. I need access my solaris box from my work place, I use putty to telnet and ssh my cable modem dns ip but failed. How to access my solaris box at home from outside? Thanks.

mirror image of my setup. I also use putty inside and out to access my sun U2 at home. I have a linksys router forwarding any request for port 22 to my 192.168.1.48 address. It works great, I would figure you don't have port 22 open. Let me know if you need more help.. joem33@yahoo.com
