G'day law,

Make sure you "Check for Updates" before you run AdAware. You may also like to check this link for the full settings for AAw.

Commonname is listed as spyware.
If you start the PC in safe mode, then run Ad-Aware, you will be able to delete these bugs. While Windows is running in normal mode these bugs resist deletion (on Win ME anyway).

HiJackThis has to be read by someone who knows what to look for (not me), so use Ad-Aware, Spybot & CWSredder first.
Spybot will list every thing that is recording your history (even the files you WANT recording) so read the ReadMe notes before you delete anything not shown in RED with this one.

CWSredder asks if you want to delete a file that you should keep if it is NOT a random name. Don't rush through this and delete it accidently.

I BELIEVE I FOUND THE FILE WE'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR IN GETTING RID OF THIS JUNK! All who have been having those annoying message boxes popup saying dwn, then another saying done, try this. Go into the folder C:\Windows\Prefetch, and locate a file named ZZB.EXE-23FDDB4B.pf. Rebot your computer into safe mode and then delete the file. I also recommend that you delete zzb.exe at the same time. If this works, I will be glad, and I'm sure many others will be glad as well...sick of those stupid things.
