i've recently started having a few problems w/ my Zonealarm causing my computer to lock up to the point where i would have to restart, or just close the firewall for everything to unfreeze. Ive tried a clean install which didnt help, and their tech support didnt give my any solutions that has helped the problem. I just want some reccommendations to another firewall thats just as good as Zonealarm. Thanks

I would suggest either Sygate from here

http://www.tucows.com/get/213160_90233 OR

Kerio from here

http://www.sunbelt-software.com/Kerio-Download.cfm

For the Kerio download you need to provide your email details and after the 30 day evaluation period expires the Kerio firewall reverts to the free version: check the difference on their site.

I quit using ZA Pro for the same reason quite awhile ago. ZA tech support told me they were working on a fix, LOL. I gave up and went with Sygate.
