Comment: Zone Alarm keeps locking up my server. I had problems downloading a new version of Zone Alarm and it's been a problem ever since. I had to abort the download and now after about 10-15 minutes online, it locks up. A Zone Alarm page actually shows up in my IE window. It's titled "Zone Labs: VSMON Lockup Server". I tried the uninstall and then tried to delete everything related to Zone Alarm and no luck. Still locks up. Anyone got any ideas or solutions?

Reply: (edit)There are two issues going on here. One, the new version of Zone Alarm is not supported by Win 98. The second thing is that ZA is not supported on servers although some folks do get by with ZAP.

Reply: (edit)I have just uminstalled zone alarm (free version)from my windows 98 SE, and when i try to go on-line with adsl "Zonelabs VSMON lockup server" message comes up every time and stops me getting access. I've got rid of 'internet logs' and C:\windows\system\zonelabs. I suspect the problem is in the vs* files remaining in C:\windows or there must be a registry fix
CAN ANYONE HELP, PLEASE?
