I have a problem where ZA keep forgetting the settings under programs. I will set bearshare to allow net access and server then later it wont even be in the program list. If it does remember the program it will forget what option I had sellected, usually going to ? from allow access. This is real annoying. anyone have any ideas?

Thanks for trying to help, but I know how to set it up. ZA just keeps forgetting what I tell it. Also your link doesn't work as you posted it, it says "The page cannot be found".

Sorry about the link. It was the link for the exact Bearshare support page for setting up Zone Alarm. Try the Bearshare website and search for the firewall setup area.
The other thing I have done when my firewall gave me trouble is to uninstall and reinstall using a complete installation and erase previous settings using the latest version. I have found that this is easier and faster than trying to make the corrections when things are going or went wrong. All the best!

Same experience here, uninstalling and reinstalling should usually solve the problem. Good luck!
